For the IT staff, it’s much easier to administer our printing environment and devices with LRS EOM. . . We would need 50% more people and much more time to administer the printers -maybe an additional 50 percent of time for device administration.

LRS solutions have simplified our printing environment because we had a mixed environment with multiple print servers and teams looking after those servers in different regions of the world.

Installing print drivers takes minimal time now with LRS. Before, our team had to touch each workstation and make sure that they have the drivers in there. With LRS print management, they can do 100 devices with the same number of strokes as they did for 10 workstations.

Before LRS, we had a very distributed network for print servers –around 50 servers. Now, with LRS print server software, we’re down to three servers and we haven’t experienced any outages.

Using built in security, we’ve reduced access to spools for specific printers. There’s a security issue there in that some printers need higher security, and we’ve been able to implement that security with LRS.
