Let’s Grow Together

“Let’s Grow Together – Win With Partners.” This was the theme of the second T-Systems IT Partner Days event in Berlin. Once again, LRS was invited to attend. This time the gathering took place in an extraordinary venue — the German Telekom representative office in the nation’s capital.

TSI and LRS

The event started with a keynote address by Jen Rüster, Senior VP of Global Partner Management and End User Services in the T-Systems IT division. Herr Rüster’s address highlighted the growing importance of partner business to the T-Systems organization.

Afterward, select partners were asked to offer a 15 minute overview of their own solutions. LRS’ own Lyes Benabid took the opportunity to explain the business need for Enterprise Output Management. His theme “The Clock is Ticking,” a reference to the rapidly approaching May 2018 deadline for General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance, reminded audience members of the need for a comprehensive output management system.

After the presentations, Lyes Benabid and I joined Chris Taylor from LRS’ UK office in talking to T-Systems sales and account managers about possibilities for collaboration in upcoming customer projects in 2018.

At the end of the second day, T-Systems International presented Partner Awards in a variety of categories. Although we had a very successful year of collaboration with T-Systems, we were came home empty handed from this year’s event. Disappointing, to be sure, but this makes us more motivated then ever to go for the gold at the next TSI Partner Congress.

To which I say: “Let’s Grow Together.“

On January 1, 2018, I will assume the responsibilities of managing the TSI relationship for LRS, so for me, this recent event was a great opportunity to meet some of the key partners at T Systems. I want to thank Lyes for the fantastic work he has done over the last few years, and look forward to continuing the successful partnership between our two companies.
